Based in Cheshire, UK, I am an established freelance medical writer with extensive clinical experience in oncology. My research has been published in many leading journals, including the Lancet (see bibliography) and I have worked as a medical editor for Oxford University Press and as an academic peer reviewer. In addition, I have 6 years' in-house experience with a major pharmaceutical company, latterly as Global Lead Oncology Writer.
My academic and industry track record, publishing experience and accomplished writing skills, ensure that I provide my clients with comprehensive medical writing solutions in both the regulatory and medical publishing arenas. An attention to detail and strong delivery focus ensure that work of the highest standard is completed in a timely fashion.
I founded Scriva Medical Communications in 1999 to provide a range of medical communication services for the healthcare industry. The name (pronounced ‘skreeva’), is based on scríbhneoir, the Gaelic word for scribe.
